Whereas, Tanzania is the land of Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar there are some alarming trends in protecting terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity. Forest loss has grown and more key biodiversity areas are on leash of being protected from human activities. As 2030 targets SDG15 are unlikely to be met, ought to take much more responsible actions to the life on the land.
By 2030, protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
Raise essential awareness to school students on environmental protection. Prepare presentations and share with the students in class room. Take an initiative to prepare activities that will put them to work on the environment. Participate in environmental campaigns aiming at raising the awareness to young stars.
