Whereas, English is a second language to children these days in Tanzania, there is a challenge on how it is taught. Teachers have limited techniques towards teaching it and promoting students to use it so as they can grow their English skills. This project is an opportunity for you to share and develop English skills in primary schools. You may as well add other subjects you would like to teach.

Role Description

Teach essential English skills to prepare students in primary school for their exams. Share your culture and stories with the students. Design fun activities to gain students' interest in learning English or other subjects you may decide to add and help students practice and improve their speaking and listening skills. Learn a little Swahili then interact with the locals.

  • Assist class/subject teacher with their everyday tasks

  • Working with and manage children of 6-12 age group
